Thank You, McCracken Bag & Label Employees!

McCracken Bag & Label extends a big thank you to its employees who continued to work during the COVID-19 shutdown. While they may not have been mentioned on the list of essential workers, without their bravery and determination, medications would not have been filled, food and supplies couldn’t have been shipped, and logistic operations would have been halted because each would be missing the labels and packaging supplies necessary for the steps to be successfully completed.

We are truly grateful for your continued hard work and commitment during these unprecedented times.

To our valued customers:

As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, we want to communicate directly with you, our customers, about our plans to continue to support your business.

The governor of Illinois has issued a state-wide order to stay-at-home through April 7. This order will affect what types of public activity is allowed, including which businesses are allowed to remain operational. As an essential supplier of labels and bags to pharmacies, we are exempt from the Governor’s order and will not be ceasing operations.

However, in the interest of keeping our employees healthy and safe, we are beginning to transition all non-essential office staff to work remotely. Critical office staff as well as all plant team members will continue to work on site voluntarily to ensure undisrupted service to our customers. Although the change in our operations will not be easy, the health of our employees comes first. We will continue to focus on producing excellent products and delivering uncompromised service which our customers have come to expect for over 100 years, and we are deeply committed to maintaining a steady supply of labels and bags to you. Our dedication to you remains at an all-time-high while you and your team courageously continue to serve your individual communities.

We thank you for your patience as we take these necessary steps and wish you all health in body and spirit.
